In 2009/2010, I've introduced our very own CNY gift which was the Money Tree. This year, I'm delighted to introduce another very auspicious and affordable CNY gift... which is the *roll drums* Prosperity Persimmons!

Persimmon has a long history dated back to the Han Dynasty. It is auspicious because of its round shape, plumpness, brilliant orange-red colour and sweetness. Besides that, it is auspicious because its name (柿 shi) has the same pronunciation as the word for "matters, affairs and events" (事 shi) and "gentleman" (仕 shi).

Hence, our Prosperity Persimmons, that comes in a pair, symbolises 事事如意 , 事事吉祥 and 大吉大利. They are made of high quality glazed crystal and 100% carefully handcrafted in Taiwan. Each persimmon measures 6 x 6 x 2.5cm.

Dear all,

For those who has been following my spree blog, would probably noticed that I spree whenever there's discount for Kate Spade, Coach & Gucci. As such, many times, I really can't answer questions like "When's the next XXX Spree?". The truth is, I really don't know. Whenever the respective brands decide to have a sale like 25% or 30% discount, we will start a new spree.

As for Longchamp, I used to bring them in from London or Paris. However, due to export restrictions, I am no longer able to spree for them from the usual countries. The new spree(s) will see Longchamp products from USA instead. Longchamp is only worthy to buy from USA when they are on sales. As for when is the next spree? The same principle applies. I'll start a new spree when there's a sale in USA.

Hope this clarifies for not being able to respond to your questions timely and accurately.. Thanks for taking your time to read this lengthy note.
